today was one of those...

this morning i was woken by a phone call from my good friend nate sidener. he told me about a girl that he saw that i had mentioned and how beautiful she was. she was up in big bear to snowboard. nate was on his way to work at leroy's. for some reason i pictured how it probably was up there at that moment. my dad told me that this is the wettest october that big bear has seen in 117 years! "it is probably so beautiful up there" i thought to myself. since this last road trip i took with nate and amber and matt we all felt a renewed sense of closeness. i heard such endearment in nate's voice as we said goodbye and hung up the phones. i sat there in my bed feeling the thick polluted air and hot menacing sun come through my bedroom window. i could hear all the noises of constuction and busy people from the street. i could sense all these things so strongly this morning. so yes, i am missing big bear today. i am wanting to sit and have coffee at teddy bear's with matt and nate and josh. i know this sounds so self pitiful but i get to have my days every once in a while. so now i will get off the computer, go about my day, and try to keep a good song in my head.
