i am sitting here right now waiting for matt, amber and nate to show up. they are driving down tonight so that we can leave early tomorrow morning for bridge school! so i am cleaning my room and would hear these noises and think it was them just showing up and being like, 'hey we're here!' but i just called nate and he informed me that they were still at the pools house and they were going to leave big bear in like half an hour! oh the excruciating pain! the despare! dont you hate that when you realized that you've kind of fooled yourself and then you are like "ok what do i do now?' so a little trip to blockbuster to pick up van helsing isn't sounding too bad right now. i know it is a pretty cheezy one but what can i say. so ya, the whole interview with the dm yesterday... i thought i was going to 'join' them in a coffee tasting, you know, hob knob and make cracks about how powerful and knowledgeable we are compared to the rest of the universe. well it turns out i get there and my store manager, mary, says, "ok hunny we are ready to do a coffee tasting as soon as you can get it all together for us." what the hell? i was so unprepared for this! i ran back out and began to panic. i had never hosted a formal tasting like this! so i thought about what would impress them and what coffee's i really knew well. of course! italian roast! and then it got even better... i thought to myself, what pairs best with this coffee and is also a major obsession with middle aged women.... chocolate!!!! so when i walked in with a try full of fudge bars and a press of italian roast i heard these women make noises that well... chocolate should not cause people to make noises like this. so anyways, we drank and smelled and described the coffee into the ground and it, like i said in the last post, wasn't all that bad.
