street scene '06

so we just recently played street scene in san diego and it was so much fun. see for yourself:
highlights:
-free food and beer
-free sweet-ass tigers
-watching wolfmother melt my face off from ten feet away
-playing music!
-hanging with good buddies
lame... lights:
-kanye west (big letdown!) i was looking forward to seeing him the most but he sucked ass big time! and he is opening for the rolling stones?! i am confused. it was almost as fun a time as when i got slapped in the face by a 12 year old for asking her if she had diarrhea.
-the absence of matt and amber.

so for the most part is was a great time. we didn't get to go back the next day to see snoop a loop or the ya ya yas but that is ok. wolfmother blew me away. i wasn't giving them enough credit because i was trying to be cool by hating anything that is cool. they reminded me that, deep down, i really do want to play ass kicking rock and roll and always have ever since i was a ten year old christian metal head.
ps. rosie, we are going to play in vegas at the end of the tour so get ready to have your ass handed to you by the ... good times.... fairy?..... can't wait to see you!
