I just filed my taxes! that feels good, damn good! and the refund feels even better! yay for not-procrastination.
...in other news, more to keep record of my life so that PBS will have accurate references in the future, than to assume you are dying to know....
i went to church yesterday for the first time in a while and it was very good. i don't want to say if felt good, it just felt like it felt good. but it wasn't just a physical or emotional type of feeling you know what i mean? after that, a few friendies and i went to a pub in lb called ej malloys and i was pleasantly surprised. next time i have a bro-down with any of you guys, that is where i am taking you, if i have any hoe-downs, i'll take you there too but that doesn't happen much. so my meal was more than i could afford (all the money i had left in my account for the week except five bucks i had in my pocket) but then we made a last minute decision to head over to a friends' superbowel (not a spelling error, i ate like five pounds of pbr, chicken wings and guacamole) party and i spent my last five bucks on a pool (intelligent) and won all the money back that i'd spent that whole day! it was rawsome.
i've been pretty busy with school lately. i changed my major from math to furniture design. i think that i belong on this side of my brain. it is just a weird coincidence that i have nerdish tendencies towards loving math and having the same sense of humor as math dorks. i feel great about this decision and i am proud that i made it. i need to stop caring what anyone else thinks and know that i may be different but than a lot of other people around me but that doesn't mean that if i follow my own path that i'll end up a lonely bum, but i still could, you never know.
so i am taking a beginning drawing class, trigonometry, and a furniture building/design course at the glorious OCC campus. This takes up the whole first half of my day from mon-thur. the band finally got our physical copies of the album and it feels great to actually hold a real-material copy in my hand.
for those out-of-staters, if you want a copy hit me up with your mailing address and shoot one up. I love using violent action words instead of normal verbs (today i woke up late so i hurtled myself out of bed and slapped on my shoes, exploded out of the door with the sleepiness still kicking in my face. I slammed on the pedal while stabbing a banana down my throat. the traffic was strangling my patience as i sliced between cars. rampaging around... well you get the idea. so we have a few shows coming up and i'm pretty excited to get back into the swing of things. i feel like a lot of people think that we are not really a band anymore, but we are, so suck it. i like saying that too, so childish.
and one last thing, i can't wait to get my hands on this!

bye
