last night we were totally sober and weren't throwing darts and knives at the door...

this was one of those nights that makes you feel like a kid again. we started out with one little knife and started trying to stick it in the door and it some how evolved into a full on tournament where you got four knifes and like twenty darts. i think it goes without saying that accuracy was not a factor in the quality of one's throwing ability. it was more about style and aggression and how far into the door you could get the object so that you all can laugh at the person who has to go and try to pull the object out when they are fully sauced. i just remember thinking "man, this is what being a boy is about" it is funny how easily you can forget. when you are a young boy things always start out basic and simple with no real knowledge of the direction it can go. like you can just be kicking around chunks of snow on a snow mound and by the end of the night you are camped out in the worlds most amazing and livable igloo where you sit victoriously with you friend and munch down the snacks that you stole from the house because you have to bend your moral standards a bit when it means that you might starve to death. or when you start off riding your bikes in the woods and by the next day you and all your friends are racing around a super deadly course with a name like "bloody death jumps" or "the devil's bike track"
it was beautiful. there are a few more pictures of this lovely debacle on the photo link too.
