right now we are in pittsburg. it is so werid to come into new cities. i vibe out on everything. some cities that we drive into really trip me out and can put me in a weird mood. like the first time i went to minneapolis i hated it. the city had the most eerie vibe about it. it felt dark and tuked away. it felt like if you lived there you would miss out on the life going on in the rest of the world. it also had this odd new feeling. i love cities that are filled with old beautiful buildings. minneapolis looks like it was built over night and is only a day old. these things only really change with experiences and people you meet. yes minneapolis changed for me.
i am having a really hard time sticking to keeping things in chronological order. there are things that i know that i forgot. wonderful small thoughts and things i want to just share with someone or anyone. one thing i must document is my soundtrack up to this point on the tour. to be honest it has been very eccletic. i have these huge playlists on my ipod. one is filled with mellow beautiful songs and the other is filled with all the rippin tunes and good driving songs. like i mentioned earlier, i've been listening to a lot of the early bob dylan. a lot of zeppin and hendrix on this tour. fleetwood mac of course. as far as new stuff is concerned... let's see, band of horses, archie bronson outfit, ummmm.... oh! beirut! love it! josh and brianna got me a ukelele just recently and i have been playing it every chance i get. i just leaned a beirut song the other day at this bbq we went to in jersey. i was sitting right on the jersey shore. it was perfect. umm what else, wilco, ryan adams' heartbreaker, regina spektor. i don't know that is all i can think of right now. well i have to cut this short because we have to go to sound check. i will write more tonight. miss you and love you guys.

I've been reading and enjoying. Derek,if you haven't yet, get The Original Fleetwood Mac (before the girls joined the band)...it's bitch ass minivan.
Ya Dude!
Hey I've been reading too, and erroneously living through your stories. One day I too will see this country as you have. Miss you. See you when you get back.
