so yesterday i started freaking out and wanted to just drive up to big bear. i actually packed my bags and walked about forty circles around my room. it is an odd place you know? big bear that is. i think it may hold magical powers. i am actually going to go out on a limb and say that i think that is exactly how we would all feel about hogwarts if we went there. i think it would be a place that is so good and peaceful and safe that you just yearn for it when you are away. i wish there was a real life college version of hogwarts. maybe a junior college version, then i wouldn't feel like such a chump going there in my ripe old age that i have surrendured to. i think we should come up with a term to use for when we freak out and all we want to do is be in big bear. today is an ode to tour day. i decided this when i was waking up this morning. i am going to go hang out at barnes and nobles for about two hours with a jamba juice in hand. and then i am going to wander into the movie theater right next door and probably watch like five movies.

p.s. it may not seem like it, but this is a sure fire way to meet a girl.

yes, let's come up with a term.
i just got done with my hospital rotation and all that's in my brain is medical jargon...here are a few options
"I have altitude sickness." See, there's a double entendre there becasue to the rest of the world it means one thing, but to is it means we are "sick for the mountains"
Another, "Cardiomegaly" This is when a person's heart actually get to big for them, a swollen heart. My heart hurts for home type thing

this morning i woke up to warm and the smell of maple syrup. the sky was gray, i had tons of blankets on me, and i could hear the fire crackling and the fremch toast sizzling. i put on my i-pod and went outside and stacked wood in the crisp air with my loggers hat and big jacket. i am not saying this to bother you, i am saying it to invite you to me abode! your message made my day. love you, and will call you back after work!
But isn't this the same longing you had for Redding when you were in BB? Doesn't it seem like we're always pining for the place where we're not?
