i love plants!!!!

so i have this herb garden. (right now a little voice may have just come into your head and with a screechy, stoner-like tone said, "oh ya? heh heh like, what kind of herbs? heh heh" just put this joke gently to rest because, believe it or not, EVERYBODY that i have told about my herb garden has already made that one. don't worry though, i think we all struggle at times with the little stoner comedian inside) but it is really exciting for me to be able to take care of plants and there is a very strangely therapeutic quality to the whole process. now let me clarify, this isn't a little window sill pot with rosemary, parsley, and oregano that you buy at trader joes for five bucks. i have about ten different potted plants that i am very proud of. i worry though because sometimes i feel like i am allowing myself to forget about all the worries of life and just think of my plants as my friends. i will even confess (let's keep this one on the d.l.) that i have had MULTIPLE dreams about seeing these beautiful gardens. it is actually really stressful at times. like when i am at work and people walk in all cold and shivery i worry myself sick that my basil is going to get too cold. you know how basil loves heat right? anyway, i can't imagine how painfully boring this must be for someone else to read so i'll move on with my day.
