i too was overwhelmed with the possibilities when looking online. we camped at one last year. don't remember the name. but it doesn't matter. there is not one better then the other. that may have been the best weekend of my life. we were only there for 36 hours and there is nothing that has made me want to forsake all responsibility more then that small jewel of a town.
my recommendation: find nepenthe. i don't think it was destroyed by the fires. it is an AMAZING restaurant that overlooks the ocean and you sit amongst outdoor fireplaces on pillows on the ground. heaven!
