country song

ummmmmm.... today was good... better. there was one thing i forgot to tell you all about yesterday that was a thanksgiving miracle. josh and nadia found norbert!! i was in the bathroom primping and they walk in and hand him to me. i was stunned. good ol norbert was just cruising around who knows where he has been this whole time. the people down the street found him yesterday walking around in the alley. can you believe that? crazy!! it was so good to hang out with him today in my room while reading the order. he would eat some lettuce and i would read a few words and everyonce in a while we would both look up at eachother and smile. i am worried though that our place might not have enough sunlight in the fenced in area because i can't risk loosing him again so i am thinking about giving him to nadia's parents. i really wish i had a set up where he could be warm in the sun all day and just munch on dog turds but he cant do that here without wandering off. so for his health i will let him go even though it hurts.
so ya, i have been trying to just write whatever song comes when i sit down and play guitar so that i would be more free in my song writing. the other day it took a weird twist though i sat down and wrote a full song without stopping or thinking what style it was, i just wrote what came to me and figured it all out. well it is like a full on chevy truck, drinking, shootin, fiddlin country song! the words are completely detatched. they are about a guy and girl who meet at a bar and they both have their own opinion of how the other person sees themselves. i still don't know how i feel about it. it is kind of like if i had a distant relative from norway or something that was all into raving and he came to visit me and we would just sit there looking down and around. but the thing is that i really enjoy this song, i would really enjoy playing it in some country bar for a bunch of drunk rednecks who all sing along during the chourus. (just in case you guys didn't know, this is how i keep my musical self esteem up. by envisioning stupid things like this) so anyways there that is.... uhhh ok that's it.

derek, we need to sit down with a few growlers of jeremiah red, a pack of smokes and discuss the pursuits of life, love and imgination till we weep, just absolutley weep tears of joy and hope before the walls of the world are down upon us and we only have chaos to guide our paths.
